CUSTOM WOOD FENCE GATES

Custom Gate Construction Details
Gates fail when they sag out of square. We custom-build every gate on-site using heavy-duty diagonal bracing to transfer the weight back to the hinge post, ensuring the frame stays rigid for years.

A gate’s reliability rests on the posts holding it (literally). We flank our gates with heavy pressure-treated posts (often stepping up to 6×6 timbers for double gates) set deep in solid concrete to handle the constant swinging weight without leaning.

We install heavy-duty, outdoor-rated hinges and secure latches designed specifically to handle the elements and heavy daily use, preventing bending and early replacement.

Whether you need a standard pedestrian gate, a wider opening for a riding lawnmower, or a massive double gate for a boat trailer, we frame the opening and build the doors to fit your exact access needs.

Custom Wood Double Gate
in Pickering, On

We built this heavy-duty double gate to provide wide access for people as well as landscaping equipment, while also maintaining backyard privacy. A gate is the only moving part of your fence, which means it gets the most wear. We build our gates with reinforced bracing and heavy-duty hardware so they swing true and never drag on the ground.
